Tuesday B Ride:
Rides typically start at 5:30 – 6:00pm. This is a 16-18 mph no drop ride for riders with a mix of experience and fitness levels. The average speed and amount of climbing will increase as the season progresses. Ride length is between 25-35 miles depending on amount of daylight available and the route, and the specific start time, are posted on the website calendar a day or two in advance. The focus of the ride can vary from week to week depending on the attendees but the route is determined in advance.
Thursday B Ride:
Rides typically start at 5:30 – 6:00pm. This is a 16-19 mph no drop ride. Can be bit more energetic or hillier than the Tuesday B ride but nature of ride will be determined in a discussion at the beginning of the ride. The ride does not go out every week but it will be posted on the website calendar when it is on. The route, and the specific start time, are posted on the website calendar a day or two in advance.
Rides typically start at 8am. Hard, Fast, Race-Pace Drop ride. This ride has been proposed to be a fast, flatter, and shorter ride. The cue sheet should indicate the shortcuts indicating where/how to rejoin the ride if dropped. A few rides will be used of about 40 miles in length. The first 10 to 15 miles will be a warm up and the last 25 miles will be a fast drop ride. We will stop for mechanicals in the warm up but not in the race-pace portion.
Rides typically start at 8am. Easy, low-Drop ride 50-60 miles (course may vary as it's understood to be an EASY ride). This will be a longer, slower ride than currently but still of moderate pace. This is not a “RACE” ride, however parts can still be fast, but there will be regroup spots to keep the ride together. This is meant to be more of an aerobic ride. This is still an A-B level ride but we will not drop those who are fit to do the ride. The route will vary and a ride leader will determine the ride and post a link or route on the twitter website by the Friday evening before.
